I work in an illustrative neo-traditional style in both muted color, as well as black and grey palettes.

When it comes to color, I prefer the way muted/earthen tones rest on the skin as they have a more subtle impact  than your typical bright palette. I believe this lends itself to the theme of my tattoos, along with often having animal subjects or nature accents. 

 

Most of my work has a general tone of melancholy and mystical/ethereal expression. It’s often symbolic, and if possible “supernatural” in one form or another (client permitting). This is especially true in  my illustrations and paintings since they are free of any constraints a tattoo would normally pose.
